The Infant Formula Program gives infant formula to birthing parents living with HIV. Formula is given for free. This is to help stop passing HIV to a baby during chest/breastfeeding. Infant formula is given for infants from birth to one year of age and in the care of the birthing parent living with HIV.
If you live with HIV and become pregnant, ask your care provider to refer you to the Manitoba HIV Program Infant Formula Program. You can also refer yourself by calling the MB HIV Program at 1-866-449-0165.
